Encouragement
I thank God for the people who have prayed and encouraged me in the last few months. Some days have been difficult and others have been wonderful, because I had a confirmation that God was carrying me through those dark days.
God is at work in my life. As a potter molds the clay to what he wants it to be, God is molding me into the servant He wants me to be. I had BIG plans for a high powered career in radio. Then it was to go on tour with some of the groups, one time it was to work on the 700 Cub. Now it is whatever God wants. It was hard realizing that since God allowed things to happen as they did that He has a greater plan. There was a song that I used to play, "When God Has Another Plan". It tells the story of Joseph and how God had a plan that he didn't see. When God has another plan, go on and just say yes. I can't remember all the word but it was always a blessing. Now there is another song that I have adopted. Its called "Order My Steps."
Order my steps in Your Word dear Lord
Lead me Guide me everyday
Send your anointing I pray
Please, order my steps in your Word
Humbly I ask You to teach me your will
While You are working, help me be still
Satan is busy, God is real
Order my steps in Your Word
Please, order my steps in your Word
Bridle my tongue, ley my words edify
Let the words of my mouth be acceptable in thy sight
Take charge of my thoughts both day and night
Order my steps in Your Word
Please, order my steps in your Word
I want to walk worthy
My calling to fulfill
Please Order my steps, Lord
And I'll do Your Blessed will
The world is ever changing
But You are still the same
Order my steps and I'll praise Your Name
There is a part that says "Show me how to walk in your Word, Show me how to talk in Your Word, When I need a new song to sing, Show me how to let your praises ring."
I felt so lost and I didn't know what to do with myself. I plunged myself into schoolwork and tried to keep the hurts to myself. There were days I didn't come out of the house. Even during that time my testimony was God is faithful. He knows what's best for me. This reminds me of a song I used to play years ago by the Hopper Brothers and Connie... "He knows whats best for me."

He'll hold my trembling hand
though I don't understand
He knows what best for me
when I am going through.
I do wonder sometimes will I be able to use the experiences that I have had again. I don't know. One December day I realized that I had to give it all to the Lord and let Him work it out. In His Time.
thanx for the encouraging words,... I know you have been thru a lot, and so have I, but your blog lets me know its not all over. keep hanging in there with the lord, sister!
