Goals

Someone asked me what are my plans. Well, they are in God's hands. I want to earn my degree in Business and Accounting. I would really like to work in a nice office or maybe teach at a community college like New River.. if I work again. At this point it is all up in the air, because I am in school. Once I thought I could do something once or twice a week during the summer. At the most three times a week, but nothing has surfaced at this point.  When getting Social Security disability you can work a little and still get benefits...I really need to finish school though.

I have no plan for radio except for the volunteer stuff I am doing... I would like to produce a program for the underserved audience in our community. That is the black or Afro-American audience.  They are an under served audience. I used to do a proram for four years called Saturday night Praise. It was on from 8PM til midnight.  People listened, they didn't care if it was on AM or FM. They were glad to have it on radio. As long as they could pick it up they were happy. The thing about this is that I don't have the means of doing this at home yet, or even paying for it to be on air. Something like that stations charge for air time.  Saturday nights and Sunday nights during that time were a slow period for the station anyway.   This is something I am praying about.

I do know this much, that the Lord moved me from one side of the mike to the other. I enjoy doing the program for the church. I wouldn't want to be the only one doing it, because we have some very talented ministers at Heart of God, who need to be heard on that medium of radio. Right now my plan is to be in the center of God's will. I had to give Him my dream of ever being on radio again.  My scripture is Jer. 29:11.
